Here we have a swatch of the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 in the color tan. The good thing as well as the rather odd thing is only certain colors within the tinted moisturizer line do not contain phenoxyethanol, while other colors do. I love the smooth texture and consistency however this the moisturizers do have a rather pink undertone to them which may not be suitable for those with more golden or olive undertones to the skin. This is best blended out with a makeup sponge as I feel that if one uses the hands the product can appear streaky or blotchy. Price can cause a bit of sticker shock at $42 for 1.5 oz.
Lastly we have the Laura Mericer Secret Concealer, this is a salmon based concealer, however not one I’ve fallen in love with as it exacerbates any dry patches you have under the eye area as well as reveals any sort of fine lines you may have. I really wanted this to work as its as hard as ever to find a really good concealer for the rather blue/purple under eye area. I even went to far as scouring youtube for tips which suggested applying moisturizer before use, but sadly things were an utter fail. This concealer is rather thick and cost $22 for 0.08 oz both products can be purchased at Sephora or Nordstroms.
